Constitutional Court Decide Simultaneously Election Coming In 2019

Jakarta, Sigmanews.us- The Constitutional Court (MK) decides to grant partial testing of Law No. 42 of 2008 on the Election of President and Vice-President (the Presidential Election) proposed by Effendi Gazali with Civil Society Coalition for General Election. Thus, the general election (Elections) legislative and the executive can be held simultaneously coming in 2019.

“Elections verdict for Elections 2019 and beyond. Reject the application the applicant rest," said Hamdan Zoelva, Chairman of the Assembly, when reading the verdict in the trial courtroom main of MK, Jakarta, Thursday (23/01/2014).

Court reasoned simultaneous Elections can not be done now is because the phase of the 2014 election is already running and nearing its final stages. So that if the judicial enacted this year will disrupt the Elections stage.
